!MAKING POVERTY HISTORY!

On Sunday Oct. 18, Nampa (Idaho) Church members joined the rest of Canyon county's CROP walk walkers.

Church World Service asks for local walkers and for people to sponsor a walker to fight local and world hunger. The collected donations are split between local charities (25 percent) and world CROP (75 percent). Each year different local community food bank organizations are chosen to receive up to 25 percent of what their local CROP walk raises. In 2007, the Nampa Adventist food bank (open every Wednesday located at the church annex) was chosen and received $1,500. This was used to help feed our own struggling community families.
