Attendees devoted several hours of their time during the North American Division (NAD) Adventist Ministries Convention in Tucson, Ariz., to serve the local community by assisting two under-resourced public schools through Tucson Serve the City (in partnership with 4Tucson). At the Elvira Elementary School project volunteers painted approximately 700 sq. ft. of brick wall; added fresh paint to an existing desert scene mural; swept walk ways; raked leaves from playgrounds; and assisted with a door-cutting project from the kindergarten. And Santa Clara Elementary School has a fresh new look as volunteers painted the cafeteria.
