MUNSEY — Frank Torrance, 91; born Oct. 29, 1922, Huston, Idaho; died June 6, 2014, Caldwell, Idaho. Surviving: son, Michael, Taipei, Taiwan; daughter, Marilyn Kreuder, Caldwell; brother, Jay P., Boise, Idaho; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Frank was born in Huston, Idaho on Oct. 29, 1922, to Cassius M. Munsey and Hazel P. Torrance Munsey. He married Deloris M. Beach on Sept. 8, 1943. They later became the parents of two sets of twins. 

Frank was an ordained minister for the Seventh-day Adventist Church and served as pastor in many locations: 1946 in Yakima and Chewelah, Wash.; 1947 in Toppenish, Granger and Wapato, Wash.; 1948 in Goldendale, Wash.; 1949 in Milton-Freewater, Ore.; 1950 in Fairbanks, Anchorage and Seward, Alaska; 1953 in Butte, Helena, Anaconda and Boulder, Mont.; 1955 in Missoula, Hamilton and Darby, Mont.; 1962 in Reno, Nev.; 1965 in Santa Cruz, Calif.; 1974 in Ceres, Calif.; 1985 in Caldwell, Idaho.

Frank is survived by two children: his daughter, Marilyn Kreuder of Caldwell; his son Michael (Narissa) of Taipei, Taiwan; and one "like a child," James (Victoria) Arakawa of Santa Rosa, Calif.; five grandchildren, Tonya (Scott) McFarland of Humble, Texas; Caleb Munsey of Grass Valley, Calif.; Nichole (Kirk) Doering of Caldwell; Angela (Eric) Kendall of Eagle, Idaho; Oceana Munsey of Taipei; five great-grandchildren, Connor and Jenna Franklin, Audrey McFarland, Brinley and Brielle Kendall; a brother, Jay (Nadine) Munsey of Boise, Idaho; 11 nieces and nephews.
