NOLIN — Alice Isabel (Bixler), 99; born June 20, 1918, Williams, Minn.; died April 22, 2018, Portland, Ore. Surviving: son, Gene, Cheney, Wash.; daughter, Jane Woosley, Gresham, Ore.; 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Marcia, Jennifer, Michelle, and Greg; 7 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Alice's children John and Judy died before her.

Denomination employments: In 1961, Alice and her husband, Lloyd, with their children moved to Beirut, Lebanon, where Alice was employed as a teacher. When the family moved back to the states, Alice worked as the director of the cafeteria for Upper Columbia Academy until 1986, when the couple retired.
