PAYNE — Donald Brent, 62; born Aug. 25, 1954, Salem, Ore.; died July 25, 2017, McMinnville, Ore. Surviving: brothers, Lester, Amity, Ore.; Neal, Flintstone, Ga.; sisters, Carol Keller, Concrete, Wash.; Janice James, Camas, Wash.; Marie Thornton, Freeland, Wash.; and Julia Thatch, McMinnville.

Don attended Livingston Elementary School in Salem, Ore., and Laurelwood Academy in Laurel, Ore. He lived most of his older years in the Amity/McMinnville area.
