On Sabbath, Oct. 24, the Tillamook Seventh-day Adventist Church will celebrate 120 years of witnessing in Tillamook County.
On March 9th, 1895, Sabbath keepers of Tillamook and vicinity met together in the Christian Church for the purpose of organizing an Adventist church. Elder F.H. Starbuck of Portland, Ore., was invited to attend and preside over this meeting. There were 13 persons examined and "found to be at peace with one another and keeping the commandments of God to the best of their ability."
Today, with a membership of over 300, there is a group of people who are still "at peace with one another" and they would like to invite you to join with them in celebration of what God is doing in Tillamook. With Word, music and food, we will praise God.
The artist, Nathan Greene, will share in the the celebration with a vesper program and art signing. Come and celebrate with us as we continue to share the Good News of Jesus!
