LUDWIG — Michael "Mike" L., 70; born Nov. 24, 1946, Joplin, Mo.; died Sept. 25, 2017, Quincy, Wash. Surviving: wife, Jean (Baas), Monroe, Wash.; mother, Donna Marie Ludwig, Richfield, Minn.; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Deborah Ludwig, Bloomington, Minn.; nephews and nieces-in-law, Scott and Missy Ludwig, Farmington, Minn.; Stephen and Jennifer Ludwig, Eagle River, Alaska; niece and nephew-in-law, Maren and Joshua Thielen, of California.

Mike bravely fought his battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He graduated from Richfield High School in Minneasota in 1964. In 1968, he graduated with honors from the University of Aeronautical Engineering pursuing his dream career at Boeing in Seattle, Wash., as a stability and control engineer. His expertise and experience were highly regarded by his superiors and peers. Mike was admired by his family and friends as a caring person who wanted to make a difference in the world. Mike was a man of great faith and reached out to help many people, and he was a wonderful husband.
