JAECKS — Lenard Dale, 85; born March 21, 1932, Wausau, Wis.; died June 25, 2017, Chattanooga, Tenn., with his wife by his side. Surviving: wife, Lois (Iattoni); sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Carmen Jaecks, Ooltewah, Tenn.; Dr. Ronald and Kelli Jaecks, Salem, Ore.; and 3 grandchildren.

Between 1979–1997, Lenard was a executive secretary, ministerial secretary, and Washington Conference president. Prior to these administrative appointments, Lenard was a pastor in Wisconsin, California, Illinois and Maryland from 1955 to 1979.

Upon retirement, he was the executive director of Adventist Heritage Ministry, and worked restoring Historic Adventist Village in Battle Creek, Mich.
