Adventurer Sabbath Held in Bozeman

Eager Adventurers, parents and club leaders bustled around on Sabbath, March 16, 2020, in the morning, preparing to minister to the congregation in providing the church service at the Bozeman Adventist Church. This Sabbath happened to be the final in-person church service to be held prior to implementing state and national mandates regarding social distancing due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Adventurers provided Scripture, prayer, special music, offertory music, offering gathering and song service. Additionally, they participated in an active children’s story, which required them to balance on a long piece of wood serving as a makeshift teeter-totter.

The newly created Adventurer club, Alpine Adventurers, headed by Mari Kirk, has been active for about a year. Parents volunteer to cook meals for club night to make it easier for parents to fit participation into busy schedules. Other parents help teach various classes, ensuring the members are taught about Jesus, in addition to nature knowledge, service and life skills.
