Oroville Baby Dedication

November 01, 2010 | Alma Bingner

For many people, the date "9/11" holds frightening memories of the terror that was inflicted on our nation a few years ago. However, that date holds some very happy memories for the Oroville (Wash.) Church family and especially for Michael and Dana Williams. Their second son, Asher, chose that date to enter the world in 2009. Now on Asher's first birthday, Pat Scott, pastor, held a dedication service for him. His grandmother, Barbara Williams, flew in from Corona, Calif., to witness the dedication and to celebrate his birthday.

The Williams family is making their home in Oroville where Michael, a graduate of Loma Linda University, is employed as a physical therapist for North Valley Hospital. We are looking forward to their membership change so this beautiful family will officially become part of our church family.
