Labels for Education Community Member Shares Winnings with AAA

Auburn Adventist Academy was recently blessed by the generosity of Gayola Boyd, community member, who presented certificates for 50,000 Campbell's Soup Labels to the school.

In early February, Boyd entered a drawing at a local grocery store for the "Campbell's Labels for Education" program. The drawing winner would receive 50,000 points to be redeemed for educational equipment from the Campbell's catalog. Out of myriad of entries submitted by grocery stores across Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, Boyd's ballot was selected.

"A friend of mine brought me the form to fill out," says Boyd when describing how she first heard about the contest. "When I discovered that I had won out of the whole region, I could hardly believe it!"

"On behalf of AAA, I was asked to receive the prize," says Wes McKey, AAA technology director and computer teacher. "We were happily surprised to receive such a gift and will put it to as good a use as possible."

Walter Turner, AAA vice principal, comments, "We deeply appreciate the kindness and consideration of Gayola Boyd. Auburn Adventist Academy is strong because of individuals like her who make up a worldwide community and support our school."
