Orient Group Starts Church

This summer, several Kettle Falls (Wash.) Church members began thinking of holding Sabbath services in Orient, a small town near the Canadian border. After the Upper Columbia Conference gave its approval, the Kettle Falls Church dedicated this group with special prayer on Sabbath, Oct. 25. In addition, Kettle Falls Church members gave the group $500 for outreach work in the area.

This company will begin meeting in the home of Keith and Lori Wilder. On the afternoon of the 25th, the Wilder, Enquist and Greeves families visited people living in Orient and the surrounding neighborhood to become better acquainted and invite them to church.
