14th Annual Mini Camp meeting at Yakima Adventist Christian School

The Yakima Adventist Christian School (YACS) 14th Annual Mini Camp meeting was held Oct. 6 and 7 in connection with a student and adult Week of Spiritual Emphasis. Peter Neri, Indiana Conference ministerial secretary, held a series of meetings, "Preparing for the Appearing." He had two student meetings each morning and an evening meeting during the week. The student meetings were split for grades K–6 and grades 7–10. The YACS worship teams provided song service for grades 7–10, and Pastor Kris Loewen played his guitar and led song service for K–6. The emphasis of the week was learning to know God’s voice through prayer, surrender, and living life through the power of the Holy Spirit.

On Sabbath, a convocation of our three constituent churches, Fairview, Selah and Yakima 35th Avenue, were blessed by Sabbath School, the worship service, a haystack lunch and an afternoon meeting at the school. Members and friends from throughout the Yakima Valley joined together for a great time of worship, praise and fellowship.
