Young adults are vital to the current and future mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. But in many local church congregations, the millennial generation is increasingly absent.
While Adventists seem to place great importance on outward behavior, such behavior is a poor predictor of their relationship with Christ.
"For a long time, we’ve been talking about the need to minister better to young adults. We see our churches aging. We recognize that when the kids grew up, they quit coming to church. More than 60 percent of those who were in the church as kids have now disconnected in their 20s and 30s.
