On Sept. 19, the Bend (Ore.) Church met at Sparks Lake to watch four students from the Three Sisters Adventist Christian School express their love for God through baptism. Emma and Anne Lodahl, Whittney Hutzler and Marlen Ontiveros attended baptismal classes the previous year at school. Dave Shasky, pastor, led the baptismal classes and Jerry Joubert, pastor, met with the girls this year to finish the course. The girls remarked on their Facebook entries for the day "this is the best day of my life."
