Churches Host Party for Seniors

Friday Harbor and Orcas Island churches worked together recently to plan and host a birthday party for senior residents in their community.

During church they organized themselves and transported their potluck to the senior residence, where they strung balloons, put out a birthday cake, and enjoyed a delicious potluck meal. Residents were very thankful and delighted to see so many young faces joining them for the afternoon. The event was one of several ways the Friday Harbor Church is reaching out to the community.
