Marvis and Michael Remboldt Baptized

With a love for Christ and in honor of how He has worked in their lives, Marvis and Michael Remboldt were baptized early in 2006.

Michael had been a Seventh-day Adventist church member for most of his life. However, bouts of depression and recent failures in his business and personal relationships had left Michael discouraged, and he gave up on himself and God. Marvis had no church background but had known for years, in her heart, that there was a God. Her questions about God and the Bible led them to study the Bible together.

While attempting to answer Marvis’ questions, Michael recognized how he had been separated from Christ and how he needed Him. Shortly afterward, they began attending church together. They were married in 2003.

With the encouragement of Pastor Greg Middlestetter’s sermons and the 2005 Amazing Facts seminar, they decided to be baptized.

They are now active members of the Eugene Church; Marvis is the church clerk and Michael is the organist and a Sabbath School teacher. God has truly blessed their marriage, family, and business as they have learned to place their faith and trust in Him.
