"Heaven: The Ultimate Adventure” was the theme for the 15th annual North American Division Adventurer Ministries Convention held Feb. 24–27 at the Thunderbird Hotel in Jantzen Beach, Ore. More than 200 Adventurer leaders from the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and St. Thomas came together for inspiration, leadership training, professional growth and networking.
Forty seminars, many presented by Northwesterners, were designed to corresponded with the Adventurer training tracks and children's ministries certification requirements. Saturday night featured the Newberg, Gladstone Park, Hillsboro Spanish, Pleasant Valley, Scappoose, and Orchards Adventurer leaders sharing a taste of the Northwest by providing hazelnut milkshakes, a Mt. St. Helens video, and Northwestern music, stars, sand, and trees.
