Children's Ministries Training

Join us for this dynamic half-day event for those who minister to children.

We have Kathy Beagles, Guide editor; Anita Seymour, Little Friend and Primary Treasure editor; Andy Roy, Handy Andy Magic Man; and Daryl Trowbridge, ventriloquist and puppeteer. They will all be doing hands on workshops for our Children's Ministries volunteers.

Free Vegan Cooking Classes

The Eugene Church will be holding another in our ongoing series of vegan cooking classes on Monday from 6:30–8:30 p.m. This month we will demonstrate healthy snacks.

Children’s Ministries Training Workshops

Are children a part of your life? Do you lead in children’s areas? Do you pray for more effective ways to spiritually impact children either in your home, ministry or outreach? 

This year at Rocio Rojas, Upper Columbia Conference Camp Meeting North American Division speaker, will teach five workshops for impacting children and pre-teens: Bible Learning activities, Learning Styles/Temperaments, Meeting the Needs of 21st Century Kids, Teaching Children to Think, and Teaching from Nature.

Food for the Fast Lane

Join us as we share organic plant-based fast food recipes for a busy life, presented by Stephanie Erick, Judy Hernandez, and Ruth Rogers. We will be using simple but delicious recipes you can recreate with ease at home. Vegan recipe demonstrations, food samples, and tips on how to convert your old favorite recipes into nutritious alternatives by eliminating the oil. The menu includes Basic Granola, Zucchini Brownies, Harvest Loaf/Muffins and Pulled Jackfruit Sandwiches.

Nutrition Class at Eugene Church

The Eugene Church is happy to sponsor a very special Nutrition Class, hosted by Jim and Neva Brackett, authors of several inspirational cookbooks, including Best Gourmet Recipes and 7 Secrets Cookbook. Their ministry, Live Better Seminars, is a six-day residential education program that provides information about healthy living and eating, and provides instruction in preparing healthy and nutritious meals.

The Bracketts have agreed to present a special abbreviated series of lectures and cooking/nutrition classes on Sunday, Feb. 28 and Monday, Feb. 29.

Vegan Cooking Class
